Ephesians 4:12 says that God purposefully and uniquely gifted each of us “...for the training of the saints in the work of ministry,to build up the body of Christ...” Each of YOU has gifts God can use to bring about kingdom-changing work through you and in you. Would you consider joining us on a mission for Christ?
To develop Healthy Churches in all nations, equipping God’s people to make disciples, who make disciples (Matthew 28:19a …make disciples of all nations).
LoveServes International walks alongside Pastors, mentoring and coaching them to develop a healthy Church that equips its members to love God and love their neighbor (Ephesians 4:12 “Equipping
God’s people for works of service for the building up of the kingdom of Christ…”).
Go and serve. Go on a family-friendly mission trip and join Dominican brothers and sisters in Christ working through their church ministries to serve the least of these beyond their villages.
Community needs vary but are typically met in four key ways:
1. Home visits: Join a DR church leader on a visitation to pray, fellowship, share stories, and ultimately share the Gospel
2. Outreach ministries: Help with children and crafts, women’s outreach, and sports outreach
3. Labor projects: painting, cleaning, or supervised constructions projects
4. Specialized skills: use a special skill set to meet a particular need as the Dominican pastor so deems, e.g., a doctor might help with a med clinic, a pastor or business leader might do a seminar, or certified tradesmen might provide training at a vocational school or computer class
YOU are the very person God is calling to join Him at work in the DR. Your unique gifts and talents can enhance the work that our brothers and sisters in Christ are already doing through their Dominican churches. Romans 12:6 says, “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” Some of us are good at crafts, sports, construction, or a specialized service such as a medical or vocational trade. Some have a heart for prayer or fellowship. God uses each person’s gift to expand His kingdom. LSI mission trips are meant for families, corporate business teams, church groups, and individuals of all ages with a heart to help grow God’s kingdom. Even your desire to go and serve significantly encourages the local pastors and church members who are at work in their communities.
LSI mission trips are meant for families, corporate business teams, church groups, and individuals of all ages with a heart to help grow God’s kingdom. A typical serving week includes attending a local church service and community fellowship, attending morning devotions, serving alongside Dominican church members in their community, and participating in evening debriefings to share each day’s stories. There is also a day to have fun, enjoying the local culture and beauty of the island. LSI mission trips offer opportunities to work, serve, play and pray together with transformational outcomes.
